Wanstall Pippin Size:M116 Named after the home ofExcellent eating apple, also known as Wanstall Jack, or Jack in the Wood. A flavourful creamy flesh, juicy, crisp, and firm. Mostly sweet with a hint of tart. A medium sized, round, golden yellow fruit with patches of red and a little russet. It will store for around six months. It is an old Kentish variety from the 1800s, there is some debate as to whether it was a tailor in Sittingbourne or possibly a farmer, Thomas Wanstall in Greenstreet, Kent,
