Like Saheeli she has a second ability, where at the end of turn you can spend any amount of energy, to make a vehicle token with power and toughness equal to the energy spent, and crew 2 While Pia Nalaar has potential in more aggressive decks, shes much narrower that Saheeli, and Living Energy is built to work with Saheeli in charge
This flexibility is what allowed her to helm a theme deck built around Shaman King , which excited me immensely
Nice #2
Anathemancer punishes them severely for this with a deadly early creature and the promise of a much bigger hit later down the lineone that can't profitably be countered and can't be stopped with discard, which will force many control decks to consider alternate means of dealing with the problem such as an Identity Crisis
Perfect for players both new and old, Jumpstart Volume 2 is fantastic fun for celebrating the holidays and sharing Magic with friends
You can even sculpt combat to have a bigger creature die with Rimrock Knight giving +2/+0 to a key creature destined to die in combat
