Having completed all of the temples, it feels like Link has conquered all of the elements, hence his status as a WUBRG (the informal name for being all five colors)
The best use of Dark Depths is to copy it with another land so it won't have any counters on it and be sacrificed to make the Avatar token
Thanks to this, the card sees a decent amount of play in Legacy and Premodern
