CGC recently changed their scale - cards formerly graded 9.5 Gem Mint are now labeled as CGC 10, with Pristine 10 reserved for perfect cards
Solemn Simulacrum doesn't look like much at first glance, but the combination of his effects creates a large swing in your favor, netting an extra land, a smoothing of colored mana, an extra land play, and replacing the card when it dies
I know they are there to build up tokens on Meren and to generate mana, in the early game, but they aren't doing much in the mid to late game
I also want not limit the number of five drops that I play in the deck as well so that I can drop the number of lands in the deck down to 24
Goblin King, Goblin Warchief, and Goblin Chieftain are also staples, as haste and cost reduction are both invaluable things to have
We have recently had three releases set in more modern worlds where the flavour of vehicles makes more sense and a lot of vehicles did indeed see print in those sets
