It grows to a height of 75cm and looks stunning in the front of borders for all year round evergreen colour

This is a new hybrid bred by us on the nursery

Growing in it's native Australia it can get to a tree but in the UK it will be far slower growing and probably never get beyond a small tree

It has Gladioli type of deep burnt orange flowers in mid summer

Watsonia beatricis Mediterranean It grows to a heightThis South African cormous perennial was planted in the garden at Penberth in the late 60's for cut flower for the house and sending away to the various flower markets across the UK. It's evergreen in most parts of the country unless severely cold. It will produce tall flower spikes up to 1. 2m from late summer onward so is a later flowering Watsonia. Plant in a well drained soil in a sunny position.
