This will screw directly onto the 1/4" NPT outlet of the hose

You could use something like McKee's 37 N-914 diluted in a spray bottle as lubrication to aid in wiping

Let cure overnight

They aren't intended to replace everything but there is a great variety of tools offered here. For the price, you cannot beat them vs something that's 2x or 3x the cost like Snap On. This is a 1 2" socket set with flank sockets ranging from 10 to 32 mm, E sockets from E10 to E24, hex bit sockets from 8mm to 17mm, and bit sockets from T45 to T70.
