I remember stumbling upon Lurking Predators and having the same preconceived notions I mentioned before, this card doesnt do anything. But I remembered it being in a casual deck a friend had played from years earlier where it acted like a green Standstill and thought that if nothing else, it might play similarly here
Its not flashy, but in the right control shell, its downright terrifying
