The ability to place a modified small SK clamp anywhere along a 6 mm threaded rod simplifies accurate pin placement while allowing the threaded rod to assist in reduction of the fracture or luxation. This clamp is also used in CESF frames applied to long bones when the surgeon desires a half pin or wire to be placed off of a threaded rod.
