China 1899 (Shanghai) Wei Hai-Wei Courier Post 5c yellowish-green, SG4 Fiji stamps The whole printing of thisChina 1899 (9 Jan) (Shanghai) Wei Hai Wei Courier Post 5c yellowish green block of four, SG4. A fine mint block with large part original gum. The upper left stamp shows some perforation faults at top and with a few short perforations elsewhere. Despite minor imperfections, it remains fine as such a scarce multiple. Wei Hai Wei is located in Shantung Province. Along with the nearby island of Liu Kung Tau, it was leased to Great Britain in July 1898.
