Tom Putt Size:M25 Fig-like shaped fruitA mild sharp cider apple, also used for cooking and juicing. A greenish yellow waxy base almost entirely covered with bright crimson flush. A soft yellowish flesh with a mild sharpness. Fruit begins to fall in August an does not store for long. Vigorous and spreading, early flowering. Uncertain as to whether it was Rev Thomas Putt 1757 1884 or his uncle Tom Putt who first raised this apple, which has since become a regular favourite throughout the
