They make this wool out of finewools grown in the Midwest, keeping things relatively local. The mill is roughly an hour from where I live. This is a natural brown, and is very soft. As part of the small mill using environmentally careful practices, sometimes some bits of hay and such get through. I have picked what I've found out, but I may have missed a small piece or two.
