Commonly known as the coconut orchid from Mexico and Nicaragua. With it's delicate leaves this sympodial orchid grows a bit differently in that the pseudobulbs grow on top of each other. As it remains a fairly compact orchid it is ideal if space is at a premium. But what really catches me every year when it flowers is the incredible fragrance, which as the name suggests is coconut.
