The '07 version is not ever going to be one of the power vintages for this storied wine but I suspect that it will take its rightful place among the greats but only in time

There is a fleshiness and depth of the fruit here that separates the Thorevilos from the other 2008s

I say this with confidence because a 1983 Quilceda Creek Cabernet tasted in May 2008 is at its peak now and should carry on for another 10-15 years

Here too there is a relatively supple mid-palate mouthfeel to the slightly finer broad-shouldered flavors that possess a gorgeous texture
