with the first shade taking the lead and a new tone will be added in the following step

Solids & Strokes – Large – Yellows interior Based on a script likeSolids & Strokes is an exploration into printing and its possibilities to generate a diversity of colour combinations. Basic compositions of solid rectangles and stroked rectangles are overprinted onto each other. Based on a script like logic and matrix a set of 16 hues is applied to achieve the biggest variety possible. This resulted in a series of more than 200 small prints and 8 big prints creating series of tonal and multicoloured combinations.
